Biography
Jaime Tisnado graduated from Leoncio Prado Military Academy. He received his BM degree from San Marcos National University, College of Sciences. He received his MD degree summa cum laude from the same San Marcos National University Medical School. He was an Intern at GBMC, a division of John's Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, MD, 1965, and then an Intern and Resident in Surgery at The State University of New York, Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse NY, 1966-67. He was a Resident in Radiology for 4 years at Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center in Philadelphia, 1967-71. Then he took 2 years fellowships in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology both at the same institution, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, 1971-73. He then became an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Director of Interventional Radiology at Albany Medical College, Albany, NY, 1974-77. Thereafter he moved to Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, VA, where he became Associate Professor of Radiology and Director of Interventional Radiology and eventually became Professor of Radiology and Professor of Surgery, at the same university from 1985 till 2010. Thereafter, he was named one of the few Professor Emeritus of Radiology and Surgery, all at the same Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 till now. He has published more than 100 articles in peer reviewed journals, about 400 scientific posters and electronic exhibits all over the country and the world, and about 200 abstracts, 4 books, many chapters in books, and about 200 papers presented at meetings, at the local, national, and worldwide level. He has been selected many times to Who is Who in America, the Best Radiologists in America, the Best Physicians in USA, etc. Moreover, he is the only person in the country and in the world who has, at the same time and forever, more than 5 fellowships in the most prestigious professional organizations of USA.

Biography
Professor Kattesh V. Katti is internationally recognized as a leader in the interconnecting fields of—chemistry, radiopharmaceutical sciences, nanotechnology/green nanotechnology and nanomedicine—for biomedical applications, specifically for molecular imaging and therapy of living subjects. Dr. Katti has been awarded a number of international awards and citations which include: Winner of the 2016 'Person of the Year in Science' award by Vijayavani, India's most influential newspaper with over 75 million readership base. Dr. Katti has been selected for this coveted award for his pioneering research to connect India's 5000 year old traditional holistic medicine (Ayurveda) with scientifically sound nanomedicine through his ingenious green nanotechnology research. This work has created a new field of holistic medicine which Dr. Katti refers to as nano-ayurvedic medicine. International Hevesy Medal Award (2015) for excellence in Nuclear Sciences; Elected to the fellowship of the National Academy of Inventors (2015) recognizing the discovery of ‘Katti Peptides’; One of the ‘25 Most Influential Scientists In Molecular Imaging in the World’ award by RT Image, the ‘Father of Green Nanotechnology’ citation by the Nobel Prize Winner Norman Borlaug, Gauss Professorship—Hall of Fame—from the Gottingen Academy of Sciences, ‘Outstanding Scientists Fellows’ award and induction as a Fellow of the Academy of Science, St Louis—one of the oldest scientific academies of the world and many more. In 2013, Dr. Katti was elected as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science with a citation “for distinguished contributions encompassing nanoscale chemistry, particularly for ground breaking discoveries enabling application of nanotechnology concepts for biomedical applicationsâ€. His unprecedented discovery of the production of tumor specific gold nanoparticles through 100% green processes have been cited as the Editor’s choice in Nature, Future Medicine, in Science (AAAS), in Popular Science, by the Discovery Channel and have been highlighted in scientific/medical programs of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC, London).

Biography
Apostolos Karantanas was born in Larissa, Greece. He graduated the Medical School, University of Ioannina, Greece at 1983. Dr. Karantanas completed the Radiology training in University Ηospital of Ioannina. He undertook musculoskeletal training on metabolic bone disorders in New York University Medical Center and on MR imaging MSK applications in Manchester Medical School/Manchester Royal Infirmary. He has been given 370 invited lectures in 27 countries and is a regular faculty member in ECR, ISS, Erasmus courses MSK MRI, School of MRI/ESMRMB, ESOR and ESSR. He is the author of 171 Medline/188 Scopus publications (h index 24, citations 2100; Google Scholar citations: 3.450, h index:33, i10 index:82), 6 books, 57 chapters in books and 345 announcements in international conferences. Prof. Karantanas is a reviewer in 21 Medline journals, Editorial Board in two and has been a Guest Editor in 3 issues of medline journals. He has been Visiting Professor at the Universities of Leeds and Amsterdam. Prof. Karantanas is currently Professor of Radiology - University of Crete, Chairman of the Department of Medical Imaging and Director of the Laboratory Section - Heraklion University Hospital, Member of the ESOR Programme Planning Committee, Member of the Educational Committee of the European Society of Radiology, Member of the Sports Injuries Subcommittee/ESSR, Affiliated Scientist to the FORTH-institute, General Secretary of the Hellenic College of Radiology, Honorary President of the Radiological Society of Crete, and President of the Hellenic Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology.

His main research is focused on imaging of musculoskeletal disorders including bone marrow, osteoporosis, sports injuries, osteoarthritis, hip joint and applications of newer MR sequences and advanced models of data analysis in perfusion and diffusion imaging. He is past President of European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology and past member of the Educational Committee of the European Association of Radiology.

Biography
Binsheng Zhao received her D.Sc. degree in 1994 from University of Heidelberg, Germany. She is currently a Professor of Radiology (Physics) and Director of Computational Image Analysis Lab in the Department of Radiology, Columbia University Medical Center, New York.
Research Interest
Binsheng Zhao current research interests include computer-aided cancer detection, diagnosis, response prediction and assessment in multiple diseases in oncology as well as imaging harmonization for quantitative image analysis.
Biography
Dr. Krupinski is a Professor at Emory University in the Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences where she is Vice-Chair for Research. She received her BA from Cornell, MA from Montclair State and PhD from Temple, all in Experimental Psychology. Her interests are in medical image perception, observer performance, medical decision making, and human factors. She is Associate Director of Evaluation for the Arizona Telemedicine Program and Director of the Southwest Telehealth Resource Center (SWTRC). She has published extensively in these areas, and has presented at conferences nationally and internationally. She is Past Chair of the SPIE Medical Imaging Conference, Past President of the American Telemedicine Association, President of the Medical Image Perception Society, and Past Chair of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine. She serves on editorial boards for both radiology and telemedicine journals and is the Co-Editor of the Journal of Telemedicine & Telecare.
Research Interest
Dr. Krupinski is an experimental psychologist with research interests in medical image perception, observer performance, medical decision making, and human factors as they pertain to radiology and telemedicine. The goal of her research is to improve our understanding of the perceptual and cognitive mechanisms underlying the interpretation of medical images in order to reduce errors, improve training, and optimize the reading environment, thereby improving patient care and outcomes.
Biography
Giovanni Morana graduated at Medical School in 1986; in 1992 he completed the Radiological Residency at the University of Verona. From october 1988 to september 2004 he has been a Clinical Staff Member in the Department of Radiology of the University of Verona. From September 2004 he is Chief of the Radiological Department of the Treviso General Hospital. He was habilitated for full Professorship in Radiology in 2014. He has published 60 papers, 25 chapters of book, 82 abstracts and 36 posters. His posters have been prized in several international meetings. He has been given more than 250 lectures either in national and international meetings.

He has been organized several meetings mainly focused on body MR and Gastro-intestinal imaging.
